Warm car or just me?
I’m noticing when I drive my GTS I get much warmer than other cars. When I’ve driven it to work, I've arrived feeling warm enough to even be perspiring a bit. The A/C is usually off as most summer mornings in northern NJ are cool enough to not need it (same as how I am in other cars), although the sunroof is usually open and I’ve started to use the seat ventilation. I may be working a bit harder in the GTS as I’m back in a car with a stick after years of not having to shift; I think the fairly long reach to fully depress the clutch adds a bit of effort. My 1-hour (35 miles) commute is mainly on side/county roads, with speeds mostly between 40 and 50 mph. I do have to stop/slow down for traffic lights, stop signs, going through towns, turning, and volume here and there; so, there is a fair number of gear changes needed, but not anywhere close to that of stop and go traffic.
Mechanically, the car is fine as everything is working normally. I think the car cabin is actually warmer than other cars I’ve driven. Am I the only one feeling the heat? Although I’m a bit more excited when driving the GTS, I don’t think that’s enough to cause me to sweat. I know the simple solution is to just turn on the A/C, but I'd like to only do that on really warm days as I like to feel the breeze and hear the exhaust.

Come on down to the humid south where you walk out side and your shirt turns wet immediately you will love the AC.
On less then humid days I some times run with the windows down and the AC on.... great feeling.

You are not alone.
Several people have mentioned getting sticky / sweaty backs.
The A/C's in these cars aren't great and it's a pretty confined space (so circulation is limited)
The ventilated seats really help if you have them, but it's certainly one of the warmer cars that I have.

I run the A/C even when I have the windows down and the sunroof open. I still hear the exhaust plenty loud! Past few days have been oppressively hot and humid in the NY/ NJ area, so really no choice other than to blast the A/C and use the ventilated seats if you have them (I don't as I have the alcantara/ GTS package).

I have noticed the same as OP.

For some reason, I find that the seats in my 991 seem "hotter" than the seats in any of my other cars. It feels as though the seat warmer is on even though I know that it is not. Maybe they just retain more heat?

I think I know why this is...the 991 is so clean aerodynamically, that very little air comes into the cabin with the windows down, so you get warm. Even on my convertible with the top down, there is not enough airflow on a hot summer day at 50 mph. You can see this for yourself with the window down, cup your hand by the outside mirror and make a little airfoil....the amount of air that comes in the cabin from doing that with your hand is amazing. Porsche designed a car that is almost too slick! It needs some air deflectors into the cabin.

It's good to know I'm not alone. I agree that it's mostly felt through the seat as that's where my body is making contact with the car. I guess turning on the A/C is the best way to address the issue; I'll try it with windows open as well.

I have full black leather interior with ventilated seats. It was 109 degrees yesterday and my air conditioning was chilling down my car wonderfully. I guess if you want to drive with windows down and get lots of air . . . the cabriolet is the solution.
