Yes you can lease it, one advantage is you dont have to escrow the VAT on the car, and PFS defers the 1st month to the end of the lease to compensate for the
car being in transit ... only other difference is you can only keep the car in Europe for 8 wks instead of 6 months...

its killing me ... although I dusted off the GT3 yesterday when I drove up to Sonnen to sign the paperwork ... nothing like blasting thru a tunnel, windows down, sport exhaust on in 2nd/3rd gear ...

you are going to have to try hard ... I was going to use it to drink a LOT of french wine, with some cheese, salumi, and bread ... I dont think I like the
idea of the IRS on vacation doing that with my $'s ...

hey ho ... could be worse ... I will get 7 days driving my new GTS around the alps and lakes ... so I am not complaining (too much)

Last time I was there (2012) we were over for 18 days. After France and then Zermatt, we passed over the alps and descended down to Como for a stay. The whole time I was driving that Peugeot/Citroen/Renault (can't remember now) down those passes I was wishing wishing wishing I had my Turbo. My wife and daughter were extremely happy we were in the PeuRenOen.

Enjoy yourself!

I'm sure squeezing through the narrow roads around Como I'll wish I was in your PeuRennOen ...

I doubt I will get to play much with the car, my driving style and my wife's differ greatly she is not a big fan of speed, especially around corners ... last time we did this I was complaining about all the diesel vans passing us on the autobahn she was driving so slowly (BMW 550i M Sport)

^^^ I think your 550i was the same spec as my wife's ... only driven faster ... at least when she was driving!

believe me if this was a 'boys only' event my itinerary would only involve driving from Stuttgart to the Nuburgring (several laps, bier and steak on a stone) and back again!
