Rear Badging on the Face Lift 991
Well, I am not working today because my wife and I are going to drive a portion of the Blue Ridge Parkway on our way to Blowing Rock, NC so she can ravage the arts & crafts shops. I am waiting for her to get ready (meaning I have an hour and a half to kill ) so I thought I would start this "fun" thread.
Reportedly, most of the face lift 991 variants will have turbo engines.
That got me to thinking, how is Porsche going to badge these new animals?

In keeping with Porsche's recent trend of writing paragraphs on the backside of the latest 911, here are a few (tongue in cheek) potential options for Porsche to consider:
- Base Carrera (4)= Carrera Turbo 2.7
- Carrera (4)S = Carrera S Turbo 3.2
- Targa = Targa Turbo (2.7 or 3.2)
- Turbo = Original Turbo (S) or Turbo Turbo (I like the stutter version)
- GT3 = GT3 Naturally Aspirated
- GTS = GTS Turbo 3.2 Parts Bin Special
- Base Carrera (4)= Carrera Small Turbo
- Carrera (4)S = Carrera S Medium Turbo
- Turbo = Large Turbo (S)
Add any guesses you want to share.

I don't think that there will be any changes to the model designations even with the all-turbo lineup. The all-turbo Macan set the stage.
