'Lagoon Green Metallic'...
Not to be confused with 'Lago Green Metallic', an extremely rare MY1956 356A color which was definitely 'Green'!

'Lagoon Green Metallic' is a relatively rare color. It was a 'Special Order' listed color in MY1987/1988 and I believe again in 'MY1990'. The color code was 35Y (F2).

Congrats on the C4 with Burmeister! I really wanted a C4 instead of a C4S (I know sacrilegious!) because you can play with the engine more when driving at US speeds. Great looking car and a 7MT at that too. Love it!

It took about 7 months to find a C4 with a manual transmission in a color that was acceptable to me (and with low mileage). Lot's of black 991's out there and cabs.

I’ve been a Rennlist member for a long time, primarily on the 993 forum since I currently have a 1997 993 Targa in perfect condition with 47k miles. Owned it since 2003. But in the last 7 months have been constantly on this forum as I had been searching for a 991 C4 and wanted to hear about user experiences, etc.
Well two weeks ago I found my car in New Jersey (I live in Michigan). So I thought I would share some first day pictures as others seem to do when their new arrival shows up. Nothing earth shattering or creative, just documented the 991 minutes off the transport truck. I didn’t want to pick it up as the weather in the mid-west and east have not exactly been nice lately. It’s a 2013, C4, 6,200 miles.
I purchased it from Maserati of Bergen County in NJ, and I have to say these guys were extremely nice and accommodating in every way possible. They made the interstate transaction very easy to do. And with a Porsche dealer practically next door to them (the same dealer where the car was originally purchased under 2 years ago), they handled getting the car there and back from the Porsche PPI inspection. I did not physically go there so I bought it remotely. They did a live walk-around the car with me though on an iPad using FaceTime
I’m keeping my 993 tucked away except for a few Sunday drives, as 993 values are tending to go up nowadays. I’m sure the 991 will never go up in value from what I paid, so I will enjoy this as my daily driver summer car (along with my Audi Q5 for really nasty days

[QUOTE=RFMASSA;12034500]Thanks. I never would have ordered a car with a $5k radio upgrade, but it does sound nice.
Think of it as a 3k upgrade, the Bose cost 2k so add 3k to that. 2k for not so nice, 3k for nice.

Here are a few pictures of my new to me (2013) 991 along with my '97 993 Targa which I have had for 12 years.
Just iPhone pictures so not great quality but just more as a reference to show the difference between the two cars.
993 is Arctic Silver (48,000 miles), 991 is Platinum Silver (6,200 miles). VERY different cars.
