Had a younger, smaller, and more flexible friend come over to install the Burmester subwoofer. Upgrade was absolutely worth the $ 862.75 spent for all parts. Thanks again to lunarx for this great sounding mod. T

Just applied road wrap in preparation for upcoming trip. Doesn't look the best but hope it will provide some much needed protection. Leaving Rockport, TX in the am and heading over to Jacksonville, FL (wedding)onto Atlanta, and Stecoah, NC (near The Dragon) to visit some old buds. Then it's up to CT where we have a 2nd home. Plan is to fly up to CT in May, Aug and Oct for approx 10 days per stay. Want to spend more time with the folks (84 & still healthy) family & friends. Can report back to inform how well (or not) the Road Wrap performed if anyone is interested. T

Are you still planning on selling the car and replacing with a Geyser Gray, Tony?

Dave, Not likely. The plan was to sell G.G. and purchase the Geyser (no sunroof)50th at Champion while in FL this week for a wedding. Noticed ebay had a few lightly optioned 50th's that posted up after G.G and that probably didn't help. Plan B: Left Rockport this morning and drove approx 900 miles to NW Fl. Heading over to the Jacksonville area in the am (about 270 miles) to see a bud and then onto the wedding festivities Thur-Sat in Ponte Vedra. G.G. was an absolute pleasure to drive today and would have made it all the way to JAX if not for a two hour accident delay on I-10 coming out of Mobile, AL. Note: Lot's of LEO out there today and waze.com saved my *** more than once. burnout: T

834 miles per for the 3 full days of driving pleasure. Maintained a reasonable speed and got 29mpg. No drama & no tix. T

Leaving G G in CT for spring through fall this year. Cleaned her up today, filled with fresh gas, added some fuel stabilizer, pumped up the tires a bit and put some carpet pieces under them. Hooked up the digital battery charger and installed the car cover. Coming back in Aug and plan is to ride over to Narragansett, RI where we enjoy a summer home. T

Thx DG. Took G.G. on some spirited rides this past week mostly in CT and she ran great. Will still be checking onto the 991 forum a bit. Will get my fix with the LS 928 now thru fall ☆ T

Visited with the folks and some old friends up in CT & RI last week. Took a ride over to the CT Valley Region's "40 Years of the Turbo" concours event at Cranbury Park, Norwalk, CT. Met a fellow Rennlister and his beautiful Cobalt Blue 993 TT. Stretched G.G.'s legs a bit then flew back to TX. T

Good job; I would never be able to take my car apart like that. I for sure could never get it put back together....
