I was wondering how long will it take to clear the customs and when should the cars be expected at the dealer for delivery?

We'll, I'm being told by the dealer to expect 3-5 days in PDI then up to Carlsbad. Several hours of dealer prep and about 4 miles test drive. So I'm hoping to drive my new C2S home on the 8th with PSE PLAYING MY FAVORITE SONG. Give or take a day?
Are you tracking the boat (it's kinda fun)?
What's your build?
Cheers, Boatmate

Sorry. I've been task saturated lately! Tracked the boat off the coast of Portugal a couple of days ago. 15 knots......Thank goodness it's moving 24 hours a day!!!
That's a beautiful car you have there!!! I haven't seen the White Metallic in person but I bet it's awesome. White was high on my list of possible colors. If I can talk my concubine into another 911 someday, I'll go that way. And M/T.....That was my single most difficult decision. I know there will be times I love PDK and times I'll long for the M/T.....Guess I'll have to get another one someday!!!!!

Here's my build:
1 991120 911 Carrera
2 G0 Anthracite Brown Metallic
3 BH Natural Leather Int, Espresso/Cognac
4 176 Sport Exhaust System
5 250 Porsche Doppelkupplung (PDK)
6 446 Wheel Center Caps with Colored Porsche Crest
7 581 Luggage Net in Passenger Footwell
8 583 Smoking Package
9 603 Bi-Xenon" Headlights incl. Porsche Dynamic Light System
10 638 ParkAssist (Front and Rear) with Reversing Camera
11 640 Sport Chrono Package
12 653 Electric Slide/Tilt Sunroof in Glass
13 748 Power Folding Side Mirrors
14 840 SportDesign Steering Wheel
15 911 Model Designation "911"
16 970 Two-Tone Leather Interior
17 998 Natural Leather Interior
18 P06 Power Sport Seats (14-way) with Memory Package
19 P3E Premium Package Plus i.c.w. Power Sport Seats (14-way)
20 24951 Carpet in Deviated Standard Color Espresso
21 ZAB Ornamental Porsche Crest

VIN #WP0AB2A94FS124017.........So.....How far apart are they? I can't decipher this. I thought it would be obvious once I compared them, but......??????? My exit production date is 30JUL2014

Sounds like you guys are in need of a run to put some varying RPM break-in miles on those cars, when they get it.

Sounds like you have a nice build there. Enjoy it in good health once it gets here and have fun driving it. Yeah I thought the VIN would have been easier to decipher...but I guess I'm just as lost as you are...my exit production was 7/28.

A run in up the coast is my plan. The boat is late into PAMCA but that'll give hurricane Maria some time to get out of the way!!!!

So the ship did not make it into Panama yet? Do you think it will still be arriving in San Diego on 9/3?

Yeah a run on the coast sounds like a nice plan, cruising down PCH nice indeed...

The boat is half way through the canal as of 1415 PST. It will be in the Pacific by this evening and, weather permitting and baring any other stops, I think it will make San Diego by the 3rd! The ETA for the next port will update once the boat(I'm an Air Force guy. Sorry to the Navy guys if this is a "ship". Hhhaaaaa) clears the canal. Woooo hoooo!

How many west coast ports do the ships carrying Porsches dock at?
My car will end up in Fresno, but not until early December.

It seems like for all the West Coast there's only San Diego.

San Diego is the only West Coast port for Porsche. So... A Fresno car will definitely arrive via San Diego. The shipping schedule from Emden publishes about a month and a half out it seems. Pete, I would expect your car to depart Emden early November.
