HIt a curb - questions
I did the stupid thing and ran over a parking spot curb. Looked under the car and there are some minor scratches, but it looks like the front lip took more than anything. There's a small bubble in my rear tire. I don't know if this is coincidence or not, but the auto stop feature is not working any more. I need to take it in anyhow to get the tire replaced, but thoughts on whether the auto stop not working could be related? Thx.

I highly doubt it, but you never know.
The auto-stop function is dependent of several factors and readings (battery charge being one of them), so it most probably is just a coincidence.

Did you hit the rear tire also? A low speed hit should not make a bubble. Regardless, a bubble means a new tire IMO. Auto start stop should not be related. I leave mine off all the time ie car never shuts off.

Wow! Sorry to hear about that. My front and rear park assist helps me avoid those things. I did just hit an unavoidable pothole on a drive the other day and my front left nose scraped the pavement a bit. Just a few abrasions where no one can see them. But I was upset. It happens to me on every new car. It's just a question on when and how. I don't see how the auto stop can be related to your unfortunate accident.

I seriously doubt they're related. The auto start / stop seems to have a mind of its own. It will go a day sometimes without engaging and then the next day get so active that it's turning the engine off just stopping at the gate of my parking garage a minute after start up. Go figure.
