Would anyone have before and after pics of this procedure and perhaps some first-hand feedback on how it holds up?

Thx!

You want to go over that back end with a paint-thickness gauge. It damned sure didn't come from the factory with the "911turbo" badge looking like that.

Here's the emblem spacing (factory original) on mine - maybe prior owner
did them from chrome to black and didn't get them exact.

I just plasti dipped the letters on the back,i don't want any chrome on this car,I'm tryin to make my turbo not look like a typical one in stock configuration. I don't wanna remove the script then risk messing up the spacing of all the letters and script if I paint them then have to put new adhesive on

I am gonna reshoot the badging ,it was crazy hot outside and it was my first time using plasti dip so now that I've used it I can do it much better this second time around .

@gunner yeah it's strange the spacing seems off because it's the factory spot it came on this car,so maybe it's off a touch,I'm not sure. That was the biggest reason I plasti dipped even though I wanted to remove ,paint and re adhere the lettering. Sigh, now I may have to . I'd expect better attention to detail on centering all that badging .It had chrome badging on the dealership lot,I highly doubt the 1st owner moved the chrome lettering. Well just one more item to take care of

Porsche uses a template at the factory to install those..there's no way they would have installed them improperly
