Canadian Jack gave me a set of Blackmill ,I installed easily resolved the problem.
I as well purchased a set of the awe carbon ones never installed , (didn't want to dissemble anything and not cool with pieces not matching anything on the car )
Cheers
D.

it maybe the mobile app is not scaling posts properly if you are using that ?

I should have known better and proactively installed them on my car and taken pics.

Thanks for all the Rennlister's that responded. Looks like there's enough to get a run going.

I'll install mine and post pics by Thursday. Heading out of town for a couple of days, so look for pics by end of week. (Picking up my Speciale Wednesday in Detroit )

BTW, Deacon I LOVE your avatar!!!!!!!!!!!! Coolest looking ever!

hi I'm new here, just wanted to mention I installed the original blackmill kit on my 991 and they work perfect. took 10 minutes to install and they shipped them out the next morning for 75 bucks. very nice quality anodized finish and packaging. its cool to see others trying to duplicate their design.

I beg your pardon, but I take exception to your incorrect insinuation about duplicating anything???

I have no idea who blackmill is but assure you a duplicate this "AIN'T." This is purely my stupid design and ignorant effort at fixing a problem that made my ears hurt and my Smartycam wobble. This is my iteration after several attempts that I know works. Nothing more. Nothing less.

But, thank you for raising the point... folks, please do NOT anticipate nice packaging or any frills. This piece is functional and simple and I'm doing nothing but passing cost straight through. My time and R&D is completely self serving and I'm just passing to my beloved GT3 crazies that have the same disease that I have

I've seen in person the stupid, expensive solutions thus far all the way to the funny, awesome home remedies made out of cardboard This is admittedly one step more than a home remedy, but confident it will compete against the best of "commercial" products out there. Pics installed soon to come...

I'm in ...great to see someone come up with a practical solution that is not mega priced. As for packaging, you are quite right. Waste of your time and money to get fancy on this!

You wear them on either side of your helmet.
