If you're a PCA member, there's an article about the realities of PCCB in this issue:

Ok found it....post #1.....yes, almost 10 pounds per rotor. The numbers are below:

Front:
RacingBrake replacement: 15 lbs
OE's pccb = 14.8 lbs;
Iron Rotor: 24 lbs (Center Lock hub)
Iron Rotor: 27.6 lbs (5-Lug hub)

Rear:
RacingBrake replacement: 14.3lbs
OE's pccb = 13.3 lbs;
Iron Rotor: 24 lbs (Center Lock hub)
Iron Rotor: 24 lbs (5-Lug hub)

Edit: guess some other folks beat me to it....

BTW, I'm not getting into the suitability discussion again, but you asked for a weight comparison, so there it is.....

So, just to follow-up and further muddy the water...

I just telephoned Racingbrake and they confirmed that the CCM rotors made by Surface Transform in the UK (and sold by Racingbrake) can definitely be refurbished. But he also said he thought there was a company that can refurbish OEM PCCB rotors also, though he did not have the name of the company nor definite confirmation of that fact.

This was covered in another thread, one started by Racing Brake about their PCCB or iron replacement kits. It's a Slovenian company that claims to apply a new, stronger laminate to the PCCB.

Interesting. Who will be the first to try it?

Just received a reply from RB that they can only refurbish ST discs. NOT OEM pccb

RB not being able to refurbish OEM CCB's is a totally expected response.

Who's worn down their CCB rotors enough to try the SICOM Slovenian thing? Somebody needs to take one for the team! I'll believe it when I see it -- LOL
