Car arrives next week :-)
First post for me. Expecting my 991 GT3 next week. Thought I would share some pics.
My last 911 was a 996tt (first sports coup). Have owned Panamera & Cayenne TT more recently. Last 2 coups were Lambo's but decided to get back to my p-car routes.
Really excited about the 991. I've checked out all of the reviews and eager to try the pdk. Car has gmg center exhaust installed & clear bra. Color is oryx white. Otherwise the balance is stock.
Please make any suggestions regarding next upgrade/customization.
I'm on the fence regarding painting the wheels black or keeping as is.
Anyone have any suggestions regarding best location for a passport 9500ci?
Sorry for the poor pics (dealer taken).
Thanks

This is obviously a personal choice -- don't think you could go wrong with what you have or black. At this point I'd suggest living with and see what you think.
Like you, I have a white car I'm waiting for (hopefully April delivery). After much debate, I went with silver wheels. I personally don't care for black wheels because then they match the tire color causing the tire and wheel to visually become one. I prefer there be contrast between the wheel and tire. I went with silver wheels because it is a neutral color that went better with white and some of the small chrome bits on the car.

Congratulations on the car. As to the wheels I'd leave them alone for now. Later if you are still on the fence you could plasti dip them black and if you don't like just take it off. There is a thread on here with instructions from a member.

I would not paint the rims until they chip up and you get sick of looking at them. Then I would powder coat them.
I also have the standard but there is a person on this Forum who has a GT3 with 80 miles, here in Chicago, and does not want the black rims so we are swapping in March. I really could careless on either color but willing to take the black rims any way and he will be happier with the Platinum.

Thanks for all the positive feedback guys. Sounds like a consensus on keeping wheel color (for now).
This was the car at park place. Build sheet below. Price worked out well at the end. There is value for me in clear bra and bypass as I would have installed those anyway. Actually didn't know about gmg bypass initially so that was a nice bonus.

Congrats, looks like a very nice car!
I would advise to get ALP/Beltronics setup vs 9500ci. Sensors are much smaller and perform much better. Display can be integrated inside the mirror for a completely stealth setup.
As for the wheels you should get a set of BBS FI-R the best wheel for this car on the market.
