So you will be retracting all your "will buy your buckets if you don't like them" posts? A December allocation should mean you can spec the buckets, right?

Spoke to Porsche of Rockville today and they have a Dec allocation. They have a list, but it might be worth getting on it because so far the first 3 have passed on it. And I think the list is only 4 deep. Worth a shot. I only had to put down a $1000 deposit fully refundable for my allocation from them.

+1. I did the same in TN. Make sure you leave your info. My salesman called me back two weeks after I called poking around with an allocation. My build locks next week for Nov delivery. Good luck!

I spoke to one dealer about about getting on the list for an RS and price was $50k over!

Crazy right!?! Apparently demand is very very high in SoCal for these cars. It's crazy. It's worse then when the 997.1 RS were coming out.

No way I'm gonna reward that behavior.

Just yesterday, I snagged the last allocation left at a local dealer. 2015 year model w/ a Sept. build and Dec. delivery. Feeling so lucky. My other local dealer had no allocations, but took 4 deposits for a waiting list. As another poster said, roll up your sleeves and get on the horn.

Things look like 2006-7 (or much worse) in more ways than one. Be careful out there.

Reeves in Tampa has a white 991 GT3 for 25k over sticker...and it's used. It's a consignment car. I laughed at the guy...nice way to treat someone who's bought 6 cars from Reeves since 2004.
