Looking for GT3 allocation or configurable order

Not sure I follow that logic? Z06would never be on my option list, but if it were I would still take keep the GT3 order. I give Porsche credit for just replacing the engine vs. a cheap fix as I always say **** happens. End of the day we all have a high class problem waiting on our 150k toys not too much sympathy for us(:
Some may cross shop the 2 cars...but others would not. Even for those that do cross shop the GT3 and the Z06, the supply numbers are sufficiently low that some dropping out will likely not change the fact that all allocations will be spoken for.

Hate to say it when a brand has you by the ***** with high demand low supply you just have to wait your turn. For every person that gave back their car it was a line to take it at MSRP. Wrong or right it's economics 101. I was one on the lucky one's I ordered my 2015 in May, and delivery date 11/7. Thus I feel for all that had the pain of dealing with this issue, but I would say it's worth the wait the car rocks.

The more I see the new Corvette on the street the less I like it. I am not crazy about its lines and I think it looks transformer-like. I did originally like the styling but, of course, do not like the rear tail lights but some cars grow on you and some cars do not. The new Vette does not. I can not explain it and I am not asking to debate it

The front is a ferrari, the sides a GTR and the back a camero. (:

Thank you all for your input and suggestions. I've looked at each reply and I'm hoping for an msrp option. It's an all out financial effort for me, and I'm trying to get it right. Gracias, hope to be a Black GT3 owner in the coming months! The members of this board have a great style!
Wondering if OP had any luck finding an allocation. I recently put down a deposit at The Collection in Coral Gables, FL. I am on a wait list now for a MY2015, no idea how long the list is. Salesperson advised me that I would have a vehicle next May/June but I doubt that she knows. I don't mind waiting as long as I get one but I would prefer to spec it myself. I checked with Champion and a couple of others in FL but it didn't seem to promising. Champion said that their list is over 20 places long. Trying to figure out best way to proceed.

Anyone know of other open allocations kicking around? I'm not in a big hurry but I want to lock in a MY2015. I am on a couple of waiting lists but I'm not confident that they will work out. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Tell them it was the Lombardi car...
They still owe me the deposit!

Tim, you backed out of a 2014 to get a 2015 as the above poster seemed to do also? if you don't mind me asking is it b/c you feel the 2014 will have a major major hit during depreciation caused by the engine saga and the 15 won't have that same stigma?

I have wondered about this issue, as well.

On a side note, this also shows yet another inconsistency with what PAG / PCNA have insisted--which is that if cars are returned or backed out of, that particular car's engine swap goes to the back of the line.
On the upside, there's going to be a lucky buyer who all be able to quickly pick up a car without much hassle or wait.

Good looking out for fellow RL-ers! Is your 2015 also Agate Grey? Gorgeous color btw. Did you change any options between your 2014 and your 2015?
