Point taken. Totally agree. A car is never a good investment, it's entertainment and a hobby. Go on a vacation or a movie, the money is gone. The memories and experience last long after. Should be the same with a car. What memories does one want?? How much they flipped it for after driving it 89 miles or how they had 1 of 5 this or that.

Save the investments for other things. A car isn't one.

Of course we can let it depreciate! That should be our goal!

im working on 6k miles. Mostly back road 2-3-4 gear stuff.

What Porsche managed to do with this car is create a bell curve. It's awesome for cruising and commuting. It's better on the track than a 997 RS. But the 85 percent in between.... it sucks.

If i I want to cruise I take S550. A universe more car than a 991.

Ifninwant to track, 991 cup. Or 996 cup and I still faster than 991 RS.

I bet that's some high quality grass fed beef.

I'm willing to eat the GT4 depreciation as long as my Apple shares continue to go up and up! I hope you bought the AirPods like I told you about.

It looks like you had a much more productive day than I did. I can't wait to go for a ride in your RS!

Mango looks sexy, especially with the dirt on it. Cars are meant to be driven

Life is too short to not enjoy what you are fortunate to have. There are so many fluke things that can happen to a person, and I've had several friends die in their late 20s, early 30s over fluke things (not being dumb/unsafe). If you are laying in your death bed, will you be thinking about how much you could've sold your car for if you hadn't driven it, or would you be thinking about all the great memories you had enjoying it

There is one car I would swap my 997 RS out for and it's your blue 997 RS

A little over a week ago, I had a pretty bad accident on my bike. As I sat in my hospital bed, drugged out, I never once thought about what my RS or bikes were worth but rather how fast I could be riding/driving again. The memories I treasure are the things I've experienced and the people I've met while riding or driving; never what I sold them for. I guess it takes some people longer to figure that out. Mooty has
