Default Oil filter kit - which version?

I'm stocking up for my next oil change (already did one on my '15) and noticed that Suncoast as 2 filter kits - vers PK991GT3OFK for '14 & '15 and vers PKGT3OFK2016 for '16. I can't find Porsche part numbers for the filters. Note the '16 kit is the same one they list for the RS as well.

Is anyone running the '16 filter kit on a '14 or '15 GT3? Any benefits? Any problems (ie: fit, flow, etc)?

I'm still under warranty so assume I should just run the '15 part but not sure if Porsche expects everyone to move to the '16 design once old stock is sold. Would rather change now as I've been tracking the car a lot and of course concerned about appropriate oil flow.

fwiw, I don't think the filters for 14/15s are compatible w/ '16 redesign.
but if you are looking "to stock up" I have 5 factory filters for a 14/15 that I am selling for a good price.
I have a RS coming...and no fit.
pm if interested,
thx

Filters are different between the 14/15's and the 16's. If you have a 15 then you need the original filter. The 16's 3's/RS's have a larger filter neck, since the oiling feed system was modified.

Thanks! That's the answer I was looking for. So clearly the '16 filter is not compatible with the early year cars.
