Fantastic!

Curious on how the Alcantara visors turned out with the yellow stitching. Is it stitched like the standard Alcantara ones along the one edge or did they continue around the entire edge?

Ask and ye shall receive...I was out there anyway...so snapped a pic...
The stitching is on the windshield side only...when they are in normal position, you don't see the stitching but the uncharge was not much to add the stitching...relatively...

I am so impressed with how your RS turned out! Looks so good from every angle.

Also just curious if you were planning on wrapping the car with protective film over top of your CXX stripes. If so, what have you been told about being able to remove the film without damaging the decals underneath? Thanks!

Actually the car is being wrapped shortly and I will find out what they recommend. I asked about wrapping over the GT3RS logo (and hood Porsche sticker) and was told that 50% of people take the sticker off and install a new sticker over the film, and the other half wrap right over...my inclination is to wrap over since you have to replace it anyway on option 1...might as well deal with that in the future if needed...rather than right away...probably will wrap over side decals as well...
I was surprised that the RS does not come with rear fender/rocker film like the GT3 did...do other RS' come with that?

Lookin good Jeff

I heard that they leave off the rocker film when you get the livery decals...
I'm thankful they do, what a pia if they put it on there.

Great build, love the interior with all the yellow deviated stitching. It's like what I've done with my 997 GT3.

Thanks for sharing the ED experience, definitely something I want to do one day.

Where did you get the large Porsche prints in your garage from?

my RS had the rear center quarte film from factory

on my 4.0 which also has DECAL hood logo, and my 7.1 RS, I wrapped film over T decals. both cars had new film out in after three years. when film was pulled off, ALL OEM decals stayed on the car with no damage or delamination for ref.

this time, I will again film over the decal local

Great info - thanks - that is exactly what PFS (who is doing the film) said...
By the way, gorgeous RS - post some pictures for us to see. Very classy, sporty, unique color. Congratulations, and enjoy.
Jeff
