Default Heat exchangers...

Hey,

I'm trying to source a good set of heat exchangers for my 964, ideally from a dry state so they are in as good condition as possible. However I've just had the engine rebuilt so money is a little restricted! This is also the second set I've bought in 12 months! Both left hand side exchangers failed in the exact same spot.

Does anyone know somewhere I can try to find a decent set that don't cost the earth?

Found what looked a good set for $500, but he has stopped emailing me back now for some reason

Thanks,

Chris

Curious, what happens when the exchanger fails?

The welds have cracked and theres a big hole in the exhaust side on the outlet of the exchanger.

The garage that rebuilt it were concerned that exhaust gases could enter the cabin

Are there any breakers in the US that would be a good place to start looking?
