My Getty fit perfectly, the bodyshop was impressed.
I don't use any shocks, just a repurposed aluminum RSR prop rod.

Nice work DD on getting yours fitted! The grille looks great too.

Thank you

Yeah, lucky for me I did the work myself, which saved money, but if I would of paid to have it done, I"m sure the Getty would have been cheaper.

I will say about the Renspeed, other then the mounts on mine being off (about 6mm), the shape of it is nice. I don't think painting / sanding is going to be much of an issue. But, this project has really been a bit of a headache. I'm sure I'm gonna have to drill the latch mounts to get it centered. Thank you for drill presses.

I finally got mine on a few weeks ago. It's rennspeed and it needed quite a bit of reworking for it to fit properly.

Thank you, still working on getting the latch adjusted. That bolt on it doesn't want to budge. Haven't decided on what color to paint it yet, may just have it wrapped for the time being.

Are you trying to adjust the flathead bolt in the latch? I have a rennspeed Ducktail that needs some serious work for fitment. That latch is whats holding me back.If you find a way to adjust it please post! I've hit mine with a torch and no luck.

Just loosen the lock nut and turn the screw on the top, test it, then tighten that nut down when your happy.

I didn't realize there was a lock nut, until a buddy mentioned it to me.

Also, put the latch on a vise to break the nut free, then put it on the tail and fiddle with the height.
