That is just saying it is a direct plug in no adapter needed. All the earlier cars had the simple 3 plug connector the 964's have the connector designed to fit the H5's. The H1's and H4's will all physically fit any 911 up through 94.

I asked Bob at Sunset to beat Suncoast's price on this kit earlier this year and he had no problems undercutting them.

Got it thanks. Most places will match suncoast; pelican did. I rarely buy from suncoast since I live in florida they would have to charge me tax unlike when I by from out of state. Gotta save where I can.

FYI if you haven't taken these apart before doesn't hurt to take a picture how the clips go. Once you get the feel for it they just snap in place.

So I got the lights and have a couple of questions. First thank you cobalt for suggesting I take pictures of the back side of the light showing the clips. I would have never figured that out. Its a rather clever system. So I took everything apart just so I could get a better idea on how to swap out the lenses etc. Now this may sound but how the heck do these attach inside the fender??? Mind you I'm not with the car now but if I'm remembering it correctly, they stock h5 have 3 mounting points and two adjusting screws for the light. With the h4 all I am seeing is the two long bolts going from the chrome ring and attaching to the light housing. I feel like a dummy right now but are these bolts what attaches to the fender? And are there any adjustments for the lights? Sorry for being such a rookie. Thank you in advance.

I've always taken the lights apart one at a time. That way I have the other one to look at when putting back together. They are identical so no left and right.
The long screws are for adjustment only. The lights clip to the top of the fender and then are screwed on at the bottom with one single screw at the 6 o'clock position. Did you order those?

Done! Easy peasy with the help of you folks! Now that I have the yellow in I'm not so sure about them. Maybe i need to go back to orange markers. Thoughts???? Stick with stock clear and black trim, yellow with chrome or yellow with black. Lots options
