Yellow 964 H4 Lenses

My lenses are made of plastic but I found a set of OEM Bosch at this years Techno Classica fair in Essen. Price was OK, 150€, but I'll store them on the shelf for the future. I saw maybe 3-4 other sets around there but in the Bosch stand you could still order them for 200€.

I'm sticking with my current setup for now. Not worth the expense changing the lights just so I can go yellow. But thank you for all the information for when I do decide to upgrade the lights.

I just put in old stock factory VW H4 bulbs. They aren't available from the dealers anymore but you can find them for sale online. I like the subtle yellow glow when the lights are off vs. full yellow lenses.

Just ordered the H4 set up from pelican parts. It will take a week until I get everything but I will post pictures as soon as I get it done. I see myself watching football and working on this on thanks giving. Doesnt get much better than that.

I owe you a huge! After I ordered it I went back to the thread and realized I needed the euro rings and screws. I quickly called them and added it to my order. Then I looked again at the thread and realized there was no need to order them in black as I did since I needed to buy separate rings and have them painted anyway. So I called back again changed it to chrome which will give me a retro option in the future plus they were about 100 cheaper for the set!. Thank you for your post. I'm sure I'll be reaching out when I need to install them as you can see I tend to do things the hard way.

Damn, that looks good. What color is this??
Let me make your life more difficult, hehe...
Yes you can paint the black trim rings. But removing the large adjustment screws from them is a major PITA and you can damage them. Also, if you decide to sell them in the future you will have a potentially smaller pool of buyers once they are painted. And finally, 964s came with the decorative painted trim rings from the factory. Now I'll stop messing with your head, I promise.
