Yeah, was gonna say myself, I'd stick with the Fikse for track on account of how much unsprung weight you're saving with them.

Default Nice wheels

Those wheels are amazing, great find, congrats..... I was shocked at how much some certain wheels can be. Came across these on ebay and couldnt believe the ask price... again congrats your wheels look great. Love to see pics with them mounted.

12.5K for rsr fuchs?

Not just a set of standard sized 9 & 11 x 18 Speedlines but the up sized 9.5 fronts and 11's from an RSR.

These came as part of a spares package from a US delivered RSR and appear to be a matched set. I was told these were supplied when the center hub option was included (up charge even on an RSR) manufacture dates show as 11/93 on all 4 in red marking something I have never seen on a speedline set for the turbo 3.6. All of them seem to have marks on three of the seats for the lugs and the other two appear to never have any lug nut or anything rubbed against the paint.

I was told these were used as a rain set and only had two sets of tires mounted to them. It is hard to say they are not perfect but close and have typical marks from mounting tires and some wear from mishandling but I have to say they are quite clean. I can sand and clear some of the marks and some areas around the bead that have issues and one of the 9.5's has some marks on the face that I can touch up.

I figured the closest i would get to a set like this would be some RH replicas. I am still shocked that these are sitting in my garage. I have to figure what to do with them but these must be mounted on the RSR tribute for some quality pictures. Unfortunately these are a hefty 25 pounds for the front and 27 for the rears. BTW I have a lot of documentation on Speedline wheels but very little is offered about the 9.5's which were used on the rears of the 964 Cup Cars and I have never seen any documentation regarding the 11's other than the ordering and press release paperwork.

I would have to assume Porsche will never manufacturer these again but I could only imagine what they would cost if they do.

hmmm, I'm thinking D90's for your track build would've been better :P

Terrific wheels and story! Happy Friday everyone.
