Default super quick question about Momo Horn Buttons

My apologies to start a thread about this but i cannot seem to find a direct answer with my searches.

I am looking to purchase the Momo Prototipo wheel (plenty of info on the wheel on Rennlist/pelican), but i cannot seem to find a solid answer with regard to the horn buttons. Amazon appears to have a cheap horn button but i'm not sure I trust the quality, and i do not like the chrome ring around the button.

I wanted to know if anybody has ever ordered from this ebay store? It appears to be quality, and it also has the black ring around the horn. Thanks guys, I appreciate it!

I bought my button on ebay years ago. I was not happy with quality of crest decal. If the picture you linked to is accurate, it looks much better than mine. I cant recall who the vendor was.

Button works fine though.

Good luck,

Dan

thats what im worried about. It looks better than this one on Amazon:

Amazon.com: PORSCHE Steering Wheel HORN BUTTON in BLACK RED GOLD Badge Crest for 911 914 993 928 968 944 986 930 996 924 996 997 Boxster Cayenne Carrera Targa Panamera Cayman: Automotive Amazon.com: PORSCHE Steering Wheel HORN BUTTON in BLACK RED GOLD Badge Crest for 911 914 993 928 968 944 986 930 996 924 996 997 Boxster Cayenne Carrera Targa Panamera Cayman: Automotive

Heres another one that looks extremely nice as well from Autoatlanta. Never heard of them but they appear to have some terrible reviews lol

The topic has been covered a million times, but nobody seems to have any solid answers as to who makes the most quality replica since the Momo lost the right to produce the porsche horn buttons.

Is that the leather one? I keep looking at that, but the ad is kinda confusing. Can't figure what I would need to get it to work. Another horn button?

No, the horn button is held together by three tabs, you push the tabs in to separate the button. Then you just swap the shiny center portion for his leather one. Personally I thought the 'leather' looked like plastic and went back to regular style buttons.

That is a good point. I'm not 100% sure if it includes the parts to actually work the horn. The pictures suggest it doesnt have the actual wiring to work the horn

You replace the factory center part with his leather button. You use all the "working parts" from your original horn. Mr Alex, i'm shocked you didn't like yours. I love mine.Name: PHS_6061.jpg

Mine is a little different in that i had him make me a chrome ring like the Singer button. More $$ but you can get basically the same look for $50

So it includes that alloy part right? I have a few Momo horns now, so I have the wiring.

Well he sells both. The cheaper one just replaces the actual button itself. The rest stays the same. It has the stock black trim piece. I think it would look fine, unless you are crazy like me.

I had him make me one custom to look just like the Singer button. In order to do this he had to buy a whole button and machine the chrome trim ring. It was pretty pricy, but i figured i look at it everyday, so what the hell!

+1 for Manuel Too. Great quality and I think he also does a veg dye'd one now with even better definition on the logo than mine (pictured).
