Koni FSD on a 964 - experiences?
I have -93 C2 that is completely stock - even down to what I believe may be the original shock absorbers. It has done 58k miles (94k kilometers), so if not for the mileage then at least for their age the shocks are past their best.
I want to keep the car as close to stock as possible and do not want to lower it (from its current ROW height). I am considering the alternatives for shock absorber replacement. I have not seen much posted about the Koni FSD shocks in the context of a 964 and I've not found any actual user experiences. Hence the post.
So, anyone out there running the Koni FSD on their 964? If yes, what else have you tried on your car (or other 964s)? How do they compare to the FSDs?

I am running bilstein HDs on my C2. They are fine--really good actually, but a little stiff for street driving I think.
I have Koni adjustables on my C4, not the FSD units, but their older style units. I like them better for their adjustability.
I would try the FSD's.

I had FSD's on my 993 for a while. If you like fear the stock ride and height then you will like them. I couldn't tell much of a difference from stock when I had them installed. I ended up switching them out for PSS9's after about 1500-2000 miles.

Thanks for the responses.
I think PSS10 is not an option due to both price as well as the fact that they do lower the car (unless I am mistaken).
I will search the 993 forum for further experiences.

I put FSD's on my '94 Widebody and they feel great. The car rides great on the street and handles much better than it did on the track. Much less nose dive while braking and much less nose lift on acceleration. I would recommend them unless you want a track setup.

The Koni FSD's are now installed. Had the rear bump stops as well as the rear brake discs, pads and pad wear sensors done at the same time. Everything else was apparently in great shape.
Having now driven with new shocks I realise it does not make any sense comparing the old shocks to the new Konis since the Monroes were in really bad shape - especially the front right one.
Nevertheless, the creaking is gone. The car is a LOT more stable and composed. Turn-in is from another league. The differences are obviously even more pronounced on bad/uneven surfaces. I think I am experiencing the car like it is meant to be for the first time and I am loving it!
