FRONT BRAKE DUCT Work -
Ok - talked with Loren - and the story i that they use the frame work as a duct from the front of the car to the point where they drill into the frame. There is a structural girder ( cross section in the frame ) that will stop the air flow just prior to the front suspension mid line. This point can be found through the frame access hole further towards the front of the car. You need to measure back wards to this cross section and drill your hole prior to this point. Then add a little interior flange to route the air out of the frame into the attached duct work. Will need to rivet a collar onto the frame at the drilled point to attach the duct hose. If I decide to go this route will post in a separate section. Loren said that this was done in earlier race cars and they just transitioned to street/ DE cars and have good luck with the set up.

I like the start of the thread. Everyone is very nice and complementary, but when the price is posted, everyone gets snarky.
Money is evil! Ignore the price tag, let's go back to enjoying it again

If Singer can sell their car for over 500k...Why can i sell my 964 for 299k ???
also by selling my 964 at 299k will be the 964 market up whats wrong with that?
IF you own a 964 don't you want your 964 value go up???

No denying it's a very well sorted 964... But let's be honest here, most of us do not see the value in a singer, let alone your "one of one" build. I think it's safe to assume most see where the money and development costs went to in the case of singer, yet the general consensus is still 400k is a ton.
Cut back to your car. Again, a beautiful 964, but doesn't have the singer name, or its carbon fiber body panels, fancy lights, stunning interior, 4.0 motor, or brand cache behind it..
Now understand that we all generally have an idea of what a build of your caliber cost. Taking all of this into consideration I'm sure you can understand the reactions to your asking price.
I hope you get it, I really do. If you do, please forward me the new owners contact info, I have a bridge to sell them.
