Any ideas why the front/back adjuster on the passenger seat would stop working? All the other controls - tilt, recline, etc

check the pin ***** and springs .they dislocate sometimes.

If it's not activating the electrical motor... then check the switch as posted above.

If it is, like in my case at the moment, then check the track and drive gear.

Pretty straight forward setup down there, just be careful with those ***** and springs inside the switches.

Thanks everybody. That seems like the problem and I'll tackle today

My previous 964 had a similar problem when the seat had been in it's furthest position for a long time, it wouldn't move back or forth.

I used the emergency tool in the front of the seat rail mechanism to move the seat slightly forward and then the electric motor was able to move it from there and all was fine.
