I believe I have sourced all the bearings- 3 contact bearings and 1 needle combo bearing..once I get everything and put it back together I'll let you know the details..dont want to put out what /where I ordered them until I'm sure I have the correct parts, I'm headed out of town so it will be a couple of weeks before I chime back in

sorry Steve W

It looks like there might be a supply of around 400 of these (12.45mm) bearings available, waiting on pricing...

Just received pricing... I am just getting physical confirmation on the sizing before I order them from Germany. Now all we need is to source the correct belt (the gates belt that Pelican is selling is not compatible with ozone which was the whole reason for the problem in the first place...) and we might have something here...

Jason,

Are you putting together a Distributor rebuild kit to sell? Kinda like the power steering pump rebuild kit I ordered when I re-did that.

Look at this thread here: https://rennlist.com/forums/964-foru...build-diy.html

At the bottom of the first post is the link to Rennbay that sells the kits (its a 944 kit but you only use some of the pieces to rebuild your 964 pump)

If these are in fact the exact sized bearing then yes I can do that.

The INA bearings are available... Is there any interest in doing a group buy?

how many bearings per distributor? I don't have a good mental picture of the exploded view. I am interested for repairs down the road.

I have a distributor here that has the "Incorrect Bearings" installed. I would love to rebuild it (with the correct bearing) if they come available and at a reasonable price.

Answered my own question about number of bearing per disti. Answer is here in the rebuild PDF posted earlier in the thread. 3 of these bearings per distributor.

Just 2 angular contact bearings needed, no?

Disregard, I forgot about the one on the underside.

follow-up-
like Steve W stated earlier, they are rare as hens teeth.. but can be found
I have ordered 3 (*** 7201 BE 2RS AH01) from a guy in Germany, bearings plus shipping $218 USD shipped this week. *** and INA bearings are one in the same.
Also found Motion Industries that can get them at $70 a pop but delivery time is 8-10 weeks.
