DC Auto Used Evap Fans ????
Has anyone over picked up evap fans from DC Auto and give good to bad ratings I just talked with them on the phone was told they are spun to make sure there is no squealing. I ask about the bearings being able to take oil they said spun no noise and that is it. I hate to but might spring the extra for a new one. Any input thanks. I hate to bust my piggy bank for a new fan ............

I've bought plenty of things from them, and was always pleased....one time I asked to return a tachometer that I wasn't 100% satisfied with, and it was no trouble to return it.

Three Wheelin'
Got my driver side fan from them about three years ago. Still works perfectly. I believe that they warranty their fans for 30 days. I've found that they're pretty nice folks, if it starts squeaking after 30 days then they'll likely cut you a break. Good luck!

A fan update I have the left side fan on the way called it in yesterday was $350.00 American drive out 90 day warranty .. Was working on taking out the right side as figured if the left was bad the other not far behind and taking off the cover and giving the fan a spin uggh. Not good in the south. so remove that one oil job how the bearing is not glazed over and will take some 30w oil. Lets see in about 4 days of oil soaking . And DC Auto nice ppl. Deal with Rex ..Thanks

Well here I am done with the fan install and blowing some serious air now went for a ride and what a difference oil makes on bearings. A few screws and nuts to go and a done deal. Stopped at the local watering hole to cheers a job almost done good ride in freezing air when it is 98 out. If I have to do this again I will jump into it not a hard deal to take care of. A lot of work and some cussing but do a ble . Just my two cents though if you have a couple of days take the fan cover off and drop some oil on the bearing by the squirrel cage seems like that has the most load on it. Save $350 used to $1050 new American for a fan. And some scraped up hands. Thanks for the help .......
