Mine leaks on pistons so I am most likely going to have to swap it with my unit I have in stock. Will try Lucas stop leak to buy me more time.

Ricardo, you got that OEM+ brand one? I also need to swap that one, got a bit more leaky as of late. Let me know how the fitment it, because 13$ is far better than 52$ for Porsche brand.

I went with the $13 Pelican one, not the OEM one which is $40 at Sunset. I will let you know how it goes.

I didn't realize the screw clamp on the pump inlet has a hard stop. You can't tighten it down any further. So a new hose is the right way to fix this. Its on its way from Pelican.

Got the replacement hose from Pelican today. I need to check if I have the right size oetiker clamp on the reservoir side before I swap out the hose. Not sure what unobtanium material the factory replacement part is made out of, but this $13 one should do the trick.

I fixed my leak via replacing the hose and the Oetiker clamp on the reservoir side. For the perfectionists out there the right Oetiker clamp that I used is marked 24.1 (which means max range of 24.1). That fit perfectly over the unclamped hose. I get my clamps through McMaster-Carr in the USA. McMaster part number: 52545K28
You can see my old hose was marked July 1990. After 24 years it has stiffened up considerably and can't be re-used and make a good seal. I will have to do the same on my C4 when I get to overhauling that one. I have 24 more Oetiker clamps left for this hose!!!

I am slowly building up my collection of Oetiker clamps. I see on eBay you can buy a whole automotive Oetiker set with the clamps of various sizes and the clamp tool for not too much money. I am buying mine 25 packs at a time and sometimes I have to buy two different sizes hoping one of the two will be perfect. Urgh.

A little more expensive, but you don't have to buy two dozen at a time-

They have high-pressure Oetiker clamps too.
