964 backdating in France
Dear Rennlist members, I had presented my Porsche a few weeks ago (even months I think a 996 and a 964). I have spent all this time working on the 964 backdating with 3 other friends. We really admire the hot rod and outlaw culture in the US and are replicating that approach here in France.
We have posted some pictures of the project on this page (comments both in English and French): https://www.facebook.com/inforebelles
Looking forward to hearing from you on the project!
Thank you for this fantastic forum!

Thank you guys. Yes, we will continue to share the project. The next 2 months are going to be the ones when things come together. We count on Jan-Feb to fine tune the car. It should be ready for the 2014 season. Looks like you are both 964 fans... I really love that generation of 911s. I must say that I have soft spot for the 964 Turbos (both 3.3 and 3.6)... but we will have to focus on our current backdating for now!!

Most of the pictures on the site are detail photos, not many whole car photos. I'll post some here.
Here's their starting point.
Test fitting wheels.

Here are a couple of articles about the folks at RE-BELLES and their 964 backdate project.

I forgot to say... we show details rather than the whole car because we are not done with it. So, we decided to show details that are in line with our Re-Belle spirit! : )
The pictures from above are:
- picture 1: this is when we bought the car in Feb 2013
- picture 2: this was one of the first improvements on the car (front suspensions)
- picture 3: this was in september... first time we could see her eyes
- picture 4: the engine is almost ready to be put back in
I will let you know how we progress... hope to have it ready by the end of the year...

I'm in St Prex, Switzerland, just across the lake from you guys.
I left a comment about the seat belts on your Facebook page, it would be great to come over and meet you all.
