Cheers Paul. This caught my eye but at a price:

Well she ran flawlessly throughout. We travelled all the way through France into Switzerland and had a day trip into Italy via the Grande Saint Bernard Pass.
I find that she's likely to stall when cold. I also tend to keep the revs up when at a standstill. Idle revs are never good for cams - so I'll probs ask Nick to raise the idle to above 1,100.
The Speedlines were bolted on as they're fitted with more 'reasonable' tyres - AD08.
8J 225 ET52 & 9.5J 265 ET47 + 15mm adapter = ET32 you can't squeeze a little finger in there!
We had torrential downpour at some points on the way back and the tyres were brilliant.

Three Wheelin'
Looks good Frank.. why is the bonnet open in all the pics? was not overheating or anything was it?
Popped down to see Nick and had a chat about options on my car.. nice bloke and great workshop. I'm taking mine on for a leakdown in May to see if a rebuild is needed.
Also picked up BB's old corner bumper panel, thanks so much for that

Nice scenery Frank! Driving through the mountains is always great! And your car looks amazing!
Earlier you said:
I always thought that the racing wheels would be stronger then road wheels. Why are you worried about this?
Earlier you said:
My worry however is their strength off track :s Need to get the silver wheel back on asap.

Topaz Detailing pics...
Wish the car was still this clean - she's covered in muck from the trip.
They gave her a sealant and upon my request coated the underside with Corrosion X-HD
Cheers mate.
It's open as I try and get more air in after a long run for cooling. Tend to leave the car Idle for a min or two to let things settle nicely. Just good practice in my little mind.
Cheers mate. Well, the BBS centres are magnesium and whilst light weight they can be weaker than road wheels as are the lips. On track no issue as the surface is smooth. On road though, with potholes you run the risk of cracking, bent lips etc... Not so much an issue as I run track tyres on them and wouldn't want them on the road so much.
To that effect BBS now make the model with aluminium centres which is lighter & stronger. However the new wheels have a less attractive centre...
So the Speedlines come on for road duty.

I love the detail and road trip pictures, it's good to see B.B. out in the wild.
Tell us more about the engine's characteristics. I like the comments about the idle, and needing more revs to sound happy. Are you happy with the new exhaust system?
I want that Momo wheel!
