But they aren't external. The lenses are actually inside the reflector. The outside lens is clear. It would require a fair amount of modification to get them installed I believe.

I've looked at the RUF home page under the Parts Program for 964- lots of stuff including the engine, suspension, brake upgrades- even mirrors and A pillar trim but no 964 rear lights. Is there somewhere else that you know of where I can search ? Thank you all.

I thought I would share an idea that has been floating in my head for a while. First time when I saw Magnus Walker 964 build I immediately noticed the centre panel. I thought it looked out of place. I thought he would opt to replace it with an RUF panel or manufacture his own in place of the reflector.
I made a quick mockup of what my panel would look like in the place of the OEM he is using. I like the look much more, let me know what you think.

Rear substitution panel for sale
I've got a rear substitution panel from Andrew that I never got around to installing. If anyone is interested, I'd be willing to sell it for $SOLD$ including shipping and Paypal Gift (add 3% for regular Paypal). I opted for the normal two reverse light option.
Please PM me for more information.
Thanks,
Jon

If any more guys still on the look out for reflector grill I think it could be worth contacting this shop I've found in a different matter recently: http://www.x-faktory.com/store/p7/Reflector_Grille.html
Now that reflector grill is made for a G-Model and not a 964, but by the looks of it they seem open to requests.

Al at x-faktory can make a 964 reflector grill for you - I sent him a spare center reflector to make mine, so he has a template. Highly recommended if you can figure out your own mounting solution.

Hi all, I've been pondering over picking up the project again. I have PM'ed Tommy Kaira to see how he is progressing weeks ago, but got no response. I started working on improvements to the original panel and addressed some of the fit concerns as well as found a partner who can cut the frames with excellent percission but work-work got in the way again. I can share the "ready to print" cad files for brackets with anyone willing to do some DIY on their own.
PM me for details.
Thanks!

Things are happening. I'd like to say when the new design or batch will be available but I don't have any solid date at this point. Will be updating the thread as I go.
Thanks!
