Just for a change. I love the outlaw thing, and I reckon a dark coloured 964 would just about get away with it..a 993 not so much maybe!

Going to buy it here

Ok with me but than again I'm also in a sticker-phase, wonder what comes next. I also like the Heuer one.

Thanks Johnny, second link is great, I'm gonna send it to a few colleagues who have vintage Porsches. Probably am going to get a few myself.

Truthfully I have to say I think its really rather awful IMO. LOL! I can't help it, I really do. I think the white Rennlist stickers or similiar in the windows, if placed discreetly, look ok (personally I wouldn't even have one of those) but the pegasus looks so out of place. I think the picture on the ebay ad looks terrible with the gold 911.

Still....each to their own and at least with a sticker you can indulge your tastes and undo the change very quickly. If you do it, please post pics so we can see the end result.

EDIT: I will add however that if you go completely for the "Race Look' then decals can look very cool. Sal965 is a perfect example..I really love the look of that car!

You've been sniffing a haggis again, haven't you, Johnny?

Come on, admit it.

Howard,

Thanks for the compliment!

I must admit though that i had the stickers only put on for the Gumball Rally last May and managed to keep them on for about two/three months after that but the attention they drew was not always welcome, especially from the boys in blue.

Can be fun for a while and if correctly applied, and in a suitable vinyl, they are easily removed and leave no damage.

You mean there's side effects from haggis sniffing? I should have stuck with toad-licking..

Just stick them over the bits of grotty paintwork, and save on coachbuilders bills!

I think the old homage stickers are the shizzle. Just don't put it on crooked...

I think it's cool too, but where exactly are you thinking of placing it? That might make all the difference in the world. Maybe you could take a couple of pics with the sticker in different spots so we can see what the final product would look like?

I say leave it stickerless.

On the other hand, it's like a temporary tattoo... If you apply it and don't like it, it's easy to take off. Might even be worth putting on for 5 minutes just to see what it looks like if nothing else...
