I talked to a few people about it.
Dwain will make them. But he doesn't have the time spend hours on the phone with 944 owners that want them.
That said... If I could get 3-5 pre-ordered... I'm sure he would find the time to whip them out.

originally I was going to buy the jig from Dwain but I dragged my feet and he got rid of it.

I'd be interested but would want to know costs and why it is better than it's predessors.
Realising that he's busy and this is ****-ant stuff for him, but would still want to know. Happy to pay in full in advance if it goes ahead.

Patrick,
My current track car is a none turbo 2.7 NA. I am building a new 944/951 body with a 3.2 liter 968 NA dry sump motor. We are targeting 350-400 engine horsepower and reducing the weight of the car buy another 100lbs. MM has completed the short block, head and cams. We are working on the ITB's and manifolds as we speak.

Sounds fantastic Max! Definitely get some pics and videos of that car! I guess you can get them very light without all the associated 'turbo stuff'. It's a pity there isn't an easy kit to convert our trailing arm suspension to something like Tony's.

I say lets give it another go with dwain, but as I mentioned before the Jig and Tooling that vision had to make these has been thrown away per dwain on monday of this week. I was going to buy all of his material and just make one myeslf.

I'm considering options too. Like changing the whole rear suspension setup more like Tony and Duke's.

Well, that was an expensive lesson for a bunch of Rennlisters. Any suggestions as to what I do with my piece? Nail it to the wall in my garage as a reminder...
