Default Brake Frustration

When I got my 944, the left rear brake was seized up. I pulled the caliper off and ordered a new one from Cardone through Summit Racing.

Fast forward three months later and I'm still waiting for the god damn brake. I've done all the engine work I need and would have had the car on the road two months ago if it hadn't been for this one part. It's been back ordered 3 times and I don't know what to do.

I've scoured the internet, looking for one for sale. I've also looked for a company that would rebuild mine, but I can't find a damn thing.

Any ideas?

Are you able to get the piston out of it? You could always rebuild it yourself and maybe order a new piston. Not too hard of a job.

Also AutoZone seems to have them. Or they say they do.

ROCKAUTO has stock...
http://www.rockauto.com/en/catalog/p...b,caliper,1704

or go used...

If you really want, there are a few 944s being parted nearby me on craigslist and I could try to snag a caliper(s)
