Default Please solve my problem

A few weeks ago I was driving along and the clutch went to the floor while I was in 4th gear.
The clutch came back up but then wouldn't go back down. I didn't try to stomp it too hard but it wouldn't move.

So got it home in 4th gear...
I took the clutch inspection plug out and saw that the clutch fork was pressed all the way up against the bell housing by the salve cylinder.

I took a long screwdriver and moved the fork away from housing and pushed the slave cylinder back in. It moved back very easily!

Now the clutch pedal is stuck in the up position, the slave cylinder is back in it's resting position as well as the fork.

So everything rests as it should be except
I can't press the clutch in nor can I move the fork with a screwdriver anymore.

I heard no overly alarming noises when the clutch got stuck. Maybe I remember a click? But it wasn't loud.

The fork pivot pin is still locked in its correct position. The throw out bearing still seems to be where it should be from what I can see.

Thanks for listening. Please help.

I know I'll probably end up taking the rear end out again...
Hoping for better news.

I would disconnect the fluid line to see if it is in the fluid or mechanical side of the system?

take a peek under the dash and check if the pedal linkage is jammed, there is a "clutch power spring" which makes the pedal feel lighter with a rod through it that can tear its bracket and jam. had this happen to me while lining up for a smog test this year, if its that you can just remove it and the pedal will be a little heavier.

Sounds like a clutch issue. The fork shouldn't move that easy. I'd bet something cracked and fell into the forks travel, maybe a finger from the fork itself or a clutch spring.

Hey guys

I took the slave cylinder out of the bell housing and tried to see if the clutch could move, and it did.

The slave seems to move as expected as well.

The clutch fork can't be moved now.
I have work to do now to get access to the bellhousing...

I attached a couple pictures of the inside of the housing.
I doubt there are any tell tale signs of anything. But I attached them anyway.

Hey Guys,

We got it apart a couple weeks ago and what had happened was the clip and spacers that hold the throwout bearing to the pressure plate pretty much just came off.

The bearing was free of the plate fingers and they were all just sitting in there on the TO guide sleeve.
Any idea why this would happen? Other than the fact that I replaced the clutch myself?

The fingers on the pressure plate seem pretty worn for only having about 25k miles or less on that clutch. My plan is to get a new TO bearing and sleeve, have the PPlate and flywheel machined flat and balanced and just give it another go.

I linked a picture of the bellhousing the way it came off.

Let me know what you think.
TY

Is it the picture or the clutch fork engages the throw out bearing only at one side? I have seen this before where the clutch fork stretches and it is either partially engaging the throw out bearing or it completely skips.
