Has anyone tried Part # 121G from O'Reilly on their 928?

Is that the back side of the muffler bearing clamp previously identified by Greg B. in the other mystery part thread?

That is freaking awesome. But it says it's not for sale. Are they just out temporarily? Hacker did you happen to buy two?? Do you have an extra you can let go of?

I tried it but it didn't work as well as I think it should have. Maybe the modification I did to install it in my 928 wasn't perfect (I didn't seek advice from Stan or Dr. Emmett Brown) or my Plutonium was expired.

Not to worry, overstock.com has them-- part# 15068129. But we should support our local vendors-- give Roger a call.

Some of the chains employees (At least in my area) are unaware of this. Great fun to ask them to look it up and order it for you.

Did you read the instructions?

Sheesh.

Unless you converted your 928 to a stainless steel body (which would be pretty cool), it won't work. The galvanized and the aluminum screw up the flux field.
