Mineral spirits, acetone? Keep off of paint!

Anything that will eat the foam will also eat the paint. Pick it out with dental pics, even the crappy Harbor Freight sets will work with foam.

Try a 50/50 mix of acetone and isopropyl alcohol. That's what optometrists use to clean your plastic lenses. As usual, try it on a hidden area of paint to be sure.

Thanks for the tips guys. 4 hrs of sitting on the couch with various piks and working away and I got it all out.

Wow,
That sounds like a horrible time.
Can you imagine what the PO was thinking after he fixed that?
Previous Owner: " Holly Cow, I can fix anything with this stuff. Better keep it in the Glove box"
Hope you don't run into any more choppy previous owner repairs.
