Cool new 928-themed shirts and hoodies! Ends 11/29.
Hey guys and gals,
I've put up a couple new 928-themed shirt designs. I've also included women's tees in case you want to share the 928 love with your wife or s.o. for the holidays.
These designs will only be available until 11/29, then they will go into production, which means they should arrive by December 10-15. So don't wait to order. We need to hit a total of 10 for each design to go into production. So far that hasn't been an issue.
We only make a few bucks on each shirt, but the proceeds go to fund regional 928 events here in Michigan. For example, we are gearing up to do a 928 tech session on brakes at Munk's motors in January. And of course, there's the now, infamous, Sharks in Hell event in August.
You can order them from the link on the www.MI928.org website, or you can order them directly from our storefront on teeSpring.

I know... I'm sorry. It's the deal I made with the Devil. For me, I don't have to deal with sizes, shipping or inventory! Another benefit is, if we don't get enough orders, it doesn't go into production and nobody pays a thing. For the Devil, he forces me to choose availability for 7, 14, or 21-days. I always choose 21. It's the best I can do.
I can (and may from time to time) make a previous design available in the future. But I like the idea of always having something fresh. It's kind of like the 928 article I write for the local PCA every month.
I hope you guys like these designs. Please remember, I don't get any money for this - in fact, I buy this crap just like you guys do!. It's something I do to help the local club and to help pay for our annual Sharks in Hell event (among other events).
Anyway, thank for the support!
Now, go buy a shirt for your wife or daughter, you cheap bastards!

Thanks to everyone who has signed up so far.
The dogleg shifter shirt design is just 1 away from guaranteeing production.
The phone-dial wheel design... well... so far only 2 of the 10 needed have been placed.
We have until 11/29 to get orders in. These will make great gifts for others in your family.

AO, I applaud your efforts on this project. However, I think you might get more interest in the items with the phone dial wheel graphic if you changed the graphic a bit. In particular as it is it makes the wheel look like it is back lighted, rather than front lighted. I think if you put a darker background onto the graphic on the parts of the inside of the wheel as seen through the holes it will look better. Those parts are the tiny bit of the mounting part of the wheel inside the left hole, the background in the center, the inner surface of the rim inside the two holes on the right side of the graphic, and the tiny bit in the bottom hole. Right now with the shirt color showing through the other holes it is too sharp a contrast to the light color of the inner part of the wheel through the other holes.
Just my thoughts on it.
P.S. You might even darken the lug nut holes, perhaps to a lesser degree.

But then, who am I to tell the artist how to paint his picture?
While I'm at it though, I would also suggest that you make the "928" much larger and I would move the "signature line" at the bottom up quite a bit.
P.S. Now, I think that the background in the center hole ought to be the shirt color since there looks to be nothing of the wheel showing through that hole; and it may also be that a tiny bit of open space (shirt color) should be visible through the two holes on the right. That will certainly balance the graphic much better than it is, in my view.

Nice designs AO. I know first hand how much work can be involved in swag, and for very little or no profit.

As for the 928 being bigger or smaller... it's not the size that counts.
Thanks Broseph! There is ZERO profit in this. All volunteer and plus I kind of like 928 SWAG. Any proceeds goes to the club to pay for fun-times!
