It was great meeting everyone! You all were very welcoming despite me not owning a shark. I hope to be at Frenzy 20 in an official capacity.

Well that was fun, holy Toledo it went by so fast,
the participation from the people that put this event together, Excellent!
The great tech sessions, covering interiors and A/C systems, and more.
The most excellent raffle prizes from all of our vendors,
The impromptu auto repairs on the lift,
and on the jack, and in the parking lot,
a shout out to Hans for jumping in to rescue a well worn S4 that just came from the car wash,
I am glad you had your diagnostic tool, Thanks Bud!
Cant forget about Gary with a MB 560 SLC,
and his trunk full of boxes marked free stuff,
yes your parts will save other machines,
Thank you sir!.

Eric how did the suspension figure itself out with your silver Euro?

Not to mention the after hours party in the parking lot,
along with the most crazy electric powered cooler that does a solid 30 MPH with the wet ground.

Note the usual suspects showed up as well as some new attendees, It was great to see you all.

This years fun run was awesome ,
the back road roller coaster in the lush countryside, was outstanding.

I even did a key toss and got to drive Georges show car, a terrific machine.
So much more refined from the 82 Weissach, and very fast over 4k RPM.

During the fun run, I got a S4 running with a nail file, and an 11mm wrench,
thats a MrMerlin fix if I ever saw one.
yes the hot post connections were corroded.

The topper was my well tuned old school Weissach #13 that I was doing its first long distance trip with,
has found a new home..........

While I was driving home,
my phone rang and I was asked to pull over to sell my car,
thats new one.

Well the new owner has it easy,
the hard stuff is done and the car runs pretty darn good,
so it wont be a shadow in the garage it will be out driving.

Once again thanks for everyone that played a part in this excellent weekend.

Now to fix my next daily driver, stay tuned...!

Great time, and many thanks to Greg, Kevin and Darryl. Great seeing old friends and making new ones.

I just uploaded 28 pictures to the Frenzy19 site.

What are the chances that two guys would wear the same shirt AND sit next to each other????

THANKS SO MUCH for all the sharks that traveled to Frenzy 19!! You guys are awesome!

First Frenzy we actually seriously killed the cooler battery! (It almost didnt make it out of the hot lap through the hotel lobby, that might have been trouble!!!! MJ was on a purchase test-ride at that point)

The "928 brain trust" was awesome... twin-turbos, scattered muffler interiors, car-wash killer curiosities, parts available for everything, battery bizerkness, great raffle prizes, R30-12 Air Conditioning wire wackiness... good thing we had the Capital Sausage Pyramid crew with us again so we could party hard, with legit pizza in the parking lot again!

Did I really get home at 5:15 Sunday morning!!?

BRING IT Frenzy 20!!!

For those of you who were part of the 95 north versus any other route north back to NYC I have to admit that Panos was right. Even with the threat of the Pope being in Philly, Pete, Wayne and I made it back to NYC in just over four hours, even with two pit stops and only a few spirited runs Thanks to Kevin and everyone else for the great event.

I'm just going to chime in and agree: What a great time! I deeply appreciated that I was welcomed like an old friend, though I've only met most of you once or twice and my last Frenzy was two years ago. I felt instantly that I was back among family.

This was the first significant trip I made in my Shark since buying it 18 months ago. I'm pretty sure this weekend's mileage is the lion's share of the miles I've put on it. It wasn't a rocket (there were some seriously fast cars at Frenzy), but I'm happy with how well it ran.

There must be some magic in the air or something, because on the way home my speedo and gas gauge started working for the first time since I've owned the car. (They quit again, but now I have an idea what the problem is!)

One of the best things about Frenzy is the ideas and advice you can get, even by just listening to other conversations. I have a nice list of things to work on.

I think I'm going to try to write a little article about the weekend for flussig, I'll let you know when to look for it.

I haven't looked at the Fun Run video yet. I'll make it available. I uploaded my pictures - both those I posted to Facebook and the ones on my phone - to the DropEvent gallery: https://dropevent.com/gallery/now82044

I don't think I was going that fast on the beer cooler, and that someone else came far closer to a bad end on it than I did.

Well here is my two cents:

Thank you very much to all for welcoming me in your family, I had a great time and having brought my wife, some of the ladies were nice enough to keep her company.

A special thanks to Glen McCarthy, hope I spelled it correctly for providing the whiplash proof that Ken's chips for the S3 are worth every effort to put them in. Next thing is purchasing the S4 fuel regulator and couple of hoses. WHAT A RIDE !!!

I hope to be part of this event every year or every second year, but again, thank you for the welcoming.

Everyone was a blast.

Got back last night right at 8pm. I decided to take the scenic route back for the first five hours and then put down the hammer on 70 the rest of the way back.

What a great trip and event. Thanks so much to all those who put the countless hours in to organizing an event of this size. It goes to show that even though you may be able to claim senior citizen status at Dunkin Donuts, you can still get the job done right (Thanks Kevin!!!!!!)

I wanted to also send a huge thank you out to Gary Knox for supplying us all with a wealth of great parts and ludicrously low prices. Thanks also to the sponsors for generously supplying prizes and to Daryl for letting us crash his shop again.

Count me in for next year!

In case anyone is wondering what Frenzy looks like at 4:30am, it looks like a lone Texan confused as to where all the beer went...

See everyone next year.

Thanks,
Hans

My first Frenzy. When I arrived, I walked up to a group and introduced myself by asking "Who are all these a-holes with the funny looking cars?" My social skills in action. Then I asked Wayne about the color of his car; another faux pas. I thought a can of Sprite was what it appeared to be. Tie-dyed shirts, tables full of garage-sale detritus and various emoluments. Cigars, a beer-cooler that Elon Musk would love, stuffed sharks.

But then I saw an engine with re-plated hose clamps, looking like a beautiful woman with gold bracelets. I learned my bowed-out rear panels were normal! A young woman said she had a replacement for my busted seat release in stock. A wizard with a wizardly name listened to my engine - just listened! - and gave me a list of parts I should replace.

Sure, in some ways it was a just a bunch of guys who gathered to drink beer and fart. But it was much more, too.

Best of all, my car made it there and back, and quickly. The World's Greatest GT, don't you know.
