BTW Ladies and Gents. The whistle is no longer. The Belly Gaskets where the culprit. Thanks to Brad, AO, and Dave K for the intake surgery. I'm sure others helped and im forgeting names so if thanks you Thanks as well. Shes now running and back to health. I guess I don't want that Miata or TT now.
Was there an obvious reason the gasket(s) didn't seal? Installed upside down, glob of powder coat or other debris?

There was some pitting on the intake where the gaskets go. Once side worse than the other. Remedied with gasket sealant second time around.
Good work. Sorry we didn't catch it on the original inspection with the manifold off. I'll add that to my memory bank of weird head scratcher things that you never thought could be an issue.
