Default AirCon fluid question for GTS

I plan to convert my AirCon system/fluid on my 1992 GTS from R12 to R134a.

I plan to change all AC hoses, the compressor, the condenser, the valve etc. to new items. However, I am considering whether I need to replace the evaporator which I know is a struggle to remove.

My question is would I need to use PAG oil in the event that I do not change the evaporator even if I fully flush the system?
