Precision Motorwerks Web Site Updated
For those of you that have been wanting me to put up a list of pieces and a list of what we do....the very basic "Beta" version is now up. (Many thanks to Rob Edwards....It's only been a few months since I figured out how to post pictures on Rennlist.)
This is a partial list of products and pictures (some pictures need to be replaced with pictures of current version products.)
http://www.precisionmtrwerks.com/products/products.htm
It's crude.....quick and dirty....but we will be updating and adding more products, pictures, text, and prices, as the weeks go by.
Sorry it took so long.
I've just been too busy working on pieces and projects to have ever been very concerned about marketing the stuff I make, beyond the people standing at my door waiting for the next trick piece. I'm now trying to make a few "extra" pieces for the rest of the people out there that want perfection for their 928.
I did just get in "another" batch of those 300M clutch Ubershafts today...so if you have been waiting patiently for one....a few exist, again!
For you people that have been begging for a "real" alternator upgrade (which is a direct fit and looks like it actually belongs), we're a couple of weeks from having a brand new Bosch replacement alternator (for late model 928 application only) that is just a monster. The stock alternator is rated at 40/115 amps, which means that at idle speed, you can make approximately 40 amps. Our new Bosch alternator is rated at 80/150.....twice the amperage at idle speed and 35 more amps when the thing is turning. This is a "modern" alternator with a one way clutch (reduces wear and tear on the poor belt when the engine shuts off.) They are going to be about $800....because they are a brand new Bosch high tech alternator, not a rewound 30 year old "gamble".
Let me know if you have any interest....I've already got a list going for orders.

I assume "late model" means '87+?

That was my original target market, but I'm pretty sure that '85/'86 also have the same stock alternator as a 1987 model.
The S3 cars may not need a larger alternator (unless they have a killer stereo or higher wattage headlights), because they do not have electric fans.

Great! I just noticed that this morning, probably shortly after update. I already had a reasonable idea, but it's good to see the pics and details. Looking forward to seeing more ... and with Rob doing it, it'll be done well ... with plenty of pics

I've been struggling with what to put on our next batch of tee shirts. If there is demand for the *** kicking shirt, I'll make some.
I seriously have absolutely zero artistic skill or imagination. I can't draw a rock, much less a tree! I only can imagine new parts that are completely straight, in nature. If I can draw it with straight lines....I can make it. If drawing it requires a French Curve....it's probably not going to turn out very good.
I'm convinced all I got were 100% mechanical, math, and logic genes.
If anyone has any tee shirt suggestions, please PM them to me!

Well, I'll take a pair of those too!
Who knew, Greg, you were on your way to being the next 928 fashion magnate.
In all seriousness, Greg Brown's products are the best. Buy them if you can.
I'm looking forward to having his early 928 fuel line product on my website before too long.
I have a set of his CIS lines here, and they are a thing of absolute beauty! Really.

Nice work, really helps the owner community see what you've got.
Only suggestion would be to note if the application is for LHD or RHD.
I've got a RHD clutch line in my office in San Antonio, will send in January to replicate - will be in touch via PM/email.

Greg,
Please put me on the list for an alternator. Also, I thin we should discuss the "INTAKE: Precision Motorwerks Tunnel Ram Intake Manifold System- +38 hp, +34 tq on 6.5L, + 39 h, 23 tq on 5L" I assume this will also work on the 5.4? Will it still make it through CA smog?
Site Looks good.

That's a fantastic site you created. Especially for us new 928 owners who haven't been on this site forever. Now we know what's available.
Believe this will be a good investment for you business.
Hope "the other" 928 dealers who haven't listed what they have will do the same.
