AC cold then warm then cold...?
My AC is cold when I first turn it on then after about
15min it will get warmish then cooler again, then not as cool.
It's an old system that has not been converted. Does this mean it's low on freon or the modulator is not working?

cycling?
After it gets warm, does it get ice cold again? If so, the compressor is cycling because of the freeze switch. Both my 86 & 87 do this even though most say they should not.

The more humid the location the more likely this is to happen - Houston is pretty high up on the humidity scale... Oakland not so much - but if the airflow is blocked up by 'lint' then the water won't drain away very well and the airflow will be limited in at least some areas... maybe take a peek and see if the evaporator needs cleaning on the engine side (keyhole method is likely required via the resistor pack hole - temp removal...).

This could be it. One very hot day in LA driving back with flaps on I felt water on my foot.
Are there any write ups on how to get to it? I'm not sure I would recognize it

I suspect something electrical as I am having the same problem, just haven't found the solution. Compressor hasn't leak oil since and pressure is still good, just blows cool now and not hot like it did few times.
