So were is the market heading?

No. There is NO SUCH THING as too many Porsche's. We have four (one is not in .sig) and I am seriously thinking of adding a Mecan in the next year or three.
You need More Garage!
That's just freakin' insane! ~$1K per month to add a teenage driver? Maybe I'm on another planet... but that seems surreal.
I say don't over-sample the market; you just get noise.

I thought fitting six Porsche's would be enough but the lift gets in the way. Next time Hah! I have 8 cars and enough room to park outside but not enough enclosed storage. I am considering an enclosed trailer to store the track car instead of the open trailex.
NJ auto insurance is the highest in the nation and if you drive our roads you would understand why. They just rated the intersection I travel daily as the worst in the nation. It only gets worse by the day around here. Maybe I should move back to NH and keep the cars.
I was considering the Mecan very nice ride although I still enjoy the cayenne it runs like a top and at this rate I might as well drive it until it croaks. My son has been driving me around in it. Nothing like giving your son a 450 HP lead rocket although I am very impressed with his skills he has so much to learn with the crazy things people do.

Enjoy the toy
The market to me is not important right now, since I bought the toy has my dream car from 30 years ago. Anyone that has known me for at least that amount of time knows that a Porsche is what I wanted. I will keep on enjoying the toy as long as I can, but one day MAYBE I will have to sell the toy, we shall see then. Since the car I have is now a classic (1985) it should appreciate in time.

Sorry for the "Hit and Run" Post.
Funny you should ask. Last weekend I did a full belt service including gears and lots and lots of cleaning. This was Iris' first belt job since we bought her. From the look of things, I have to think that the previous owner paid for a belt job that wasn't actually done... including the belt!
And this weekend we were at the track dawn to dusk. If you get a chance to come up here to Thompson Motor Speedway Park don't miss it. It was just opened this year. NER did their first track day this weekend. Awesome track. Very technical. Mostly a momentum track but not claustrophobic like Lime Rock.
Six may be enough
I thought about something similar but decided it would be a pain.
I'll take your NJ roads and raise you Boston and Cambridge. They're replumbing the storm run-off. My detours around detours around construction need detours. I am not kidding.
But, with 8 cars I can see why your rates would hit the sky? You're getting a premium for the teenage driver for every car you own not just the one or two that you let'em drive. Right?

Ive got a matching numbers 66 911 in my shed... (well, engine and chassis...)
Ive got a non matching numbers 87 928 manual..
I sort of don't care about the resale value of either car really... they're mine and they aren't investments.
