Nothing hard in trimming them. But it takes time and attention to detail.
You'll want to drill the holes with metric drill bits.

Rather than hijack this thread, there is more discussion here on these door panels.

I'll have a bunch of stuff there too... clear lenses, fire extinguisher brackets and more.

Also, I might dig into the goodie bin and bring some choice items I'd been holding on to.

I have a pair of Cup II fronts, ET55, Porsche. Could use refinishing, haven't run them yet, purportedly one has slight bend that balances out. Been saying $100 picked up. For the pair.

Also have old 944/964 offset Milles if anyone has other interests.

Used tensioner 70K, $20.

Have a NIB factory "U" fuel hose...pure unobtanium...but I think I'm keeping it. ;-)

Have to check on whether I sold my RMB..
Will have to rummage around for other stuff.

I'm looking for a used horn - the longer of the two. Anybody have one laying around? I'll bring my old one and we can disect it and try to figure out why it went bad. I have opened it up and for the life of me, cannot figure out why it failed.

Ed if the wire leads have continuity then it may be as simple as an adjustment of the limit screw on the coil,
this is done with the horn assembled .
NOTE if there isnt any continuity, open the horn and check the wire for broken solder joints.

simply unscrew the bolt till the horn starts to work, or try screwing it inwards.
this is done with 12V applied to the leads.

Maybe Sean or Roger can bring you one of these. Do you think it will work?

I have a 'concours' condition rear GT/GTS muffler that I could bring - $200 or acceptable offer. If anyone wants it, please send me a PM or e-mail so I can get it out and bring it. Pix available (stainless - perfect, actually look brand new, I took it in a trade for something). if you want pix - again, send a message with your e-mail address.

I'll also be bringing a pair of the most beautiful door inserts (replacement for the leather inserts above the armrest) I've ever seen. These were custom made from a very rare Hawaiian wood - Koa, and simply replace the 'dull'(!!) leather pieces Porsche provided. Everyone who saw them in my S4's thought they really beautified the interior. $250 or acceptable offer. Pictures below:

Don't think there are any left sitting around.

I installed a Bad Boy Air horn and am content with that.

BeerFish is always on the market for sale! Needs to go to someone who knows what a 84-85 EURO 5-speed with lots of killer mods is. Or if you just want to own one of the fastest non-boost (still faster than many of those) sharks out there. AND she looks pretty cool too in my opinion.
