Way above and beyond I think. Impressive work.
Evren,
How did you manage to get the DE Shield to come out so perfect around the battery box? Any secret trick you can share? It looks like it came from a modern assembly line.
Cheers!

I'm interested in the battery box/fuel tank shielding as well. What is the source of the material are they cut from?

Very clean and I like the shielding.
Are all of the shiny parts new? If not, how did you get them so clean?

Count me in on the need-to-know about the shielding, too. I scrubbed, scraped, polished the crap out of mine and though correct now, it doesn't look nearly as neat as that waffle-pattern material.

Thanks for all your comments.
I must say the forum has been very very helpful since I started this project some 9 months ago.
Special thanks to Roger, who has been very helpful to me in finding parts and answering my endless questions, I very mach appreciate
I am documenting the progress and would like to post more photos but my attachment quota is the bottleneck. I will delete the photos from the previous post and post new ones. You can also follow the project on instagram ; under user Porsche928GT ,if you wish.

Thanks for your kind comments. Your project has been an inspiration to me and you have been very helpful in the past.
Re the HS, only one of the heat shields in my two cars came off in good shape when these strange clips were taken out, I have not done anything special. I manufactured another one from 0.7 mm thick aluminum sheet metal. I covered both with ''DEI Floor & Tunnel Shield II'' This material consists of 3 layers, aluminum-glass wool and and adhesive tape, I removed the glass wool and adhesive on the edges and bent them to give a straight, clean and thin shape on the edges.
