Default repressurize an emptied fuel system?

I've emptied my fuel system so that I can replace the fuel pump and filter. Is there a proper method to repressurize/refill it so that the injectors run dry for less time?

Jumper the fuel pump relay position to let the pump pressurise the fuel system.

Everyone should do this every time you've had occasion to open the fuel system, so you can check for leaks *before* the engine bay is full of sparks.
