Thanks Darren,

Here's a link where you can make a contribution directly to the family. I also added this link to the first post.

I have an ECU from a 1982 L-jet US car pn 928.618.106.03 was tested good by specialized ECU repair i picked up around march, tested it in my car and works great. Opening bid 45$ (ill cover shipping).

Also would like to say that this was an amazing idea holding this auction. I didnt know andre personally, although I believe I remember seeing him at last year's SF. Its really nice to see so many people come together for one of their own like this in more ways than one.

Jonathan.

Default Donate W/S Gap fillers

Here is another item(s) that I am donating. I made a sort of announcemenmt of these trim gap fillers at OCIC, and they went over very well. I have had to make some tooling to finish them out a little better than the ones I hand-trimmed for the convention. I have some of them trimmed out now and rather than announcing them as one of my products of the month, I am going to introduce them here to see what the interest might be in them.

Here are some pictures of them. They are made of ABS plastic and are intended mostly for an esthetic filling of the gap that many of the 928s have between the trim and the glass on either side of the windshield. Unless you have a 91 or later 928 you will want a pair of these.

The side benefit of installing a pair of thes might be a reduction in the wind noise produced by these gaps.

This pair is supplied with installation instructions and will be shipped to the lower 48 at my cost. Any other destinations will require the buyer to pay the shipping.

These are very stealthy and could not be found when installed on one of the cars at OCIC, in spite of a number of participants looking for them.

Bidding is open.

I'll donate an embroidered leather owners manual and document case set.
This is a set of two items.
The owners manual case which holds the Porsche owners manual and smaller document holder which can hold the registration, ins card, misc. papers).

Pictured is the owners manual case. The included document case (no picture) is done to match but is smaller, 7" x 4.5" folded.

Both are cashmere leather with chocolate brown embroidered Porsche crest.

Designed and made in the USA by an FBAS shop.

Like all of you, I was shocked to hear the news about Andre. I had been out of town and hadn't logged onto Rennlist until last Friday.

In memory of Andre, I'd like to donate a pristine copy of the Project 928 book. It's virtually brand new w/ no tears or bends in the dust jacket. The book comes in its original cardboard box & the book itself still has the shrinkwrap on it. I did cut the shrinkwrap to look inside when I first got the book many years ago.

No reserve. I'll cover shipping and send the book & its box within another box to protect it.

I'll raise that bid for the book to $200 and will add a N.O.S. Master Brake Cylinder I acquired a few years ago.

I'm not sure what years it fits (78 to 83ish I think). I know for certain it does not fit an 87.

Mike, I request that you close the auction on the W/S trim Gap fillers so you can get paid and I can ship them.

Then, I hereby donate a second set of the Windshield Trim Gap Fillers under the same terms as the first set.

Thanks for the great bids on this item. This is a very good cause for the family of one of our own.

In the belief that any battery maintainer can be argued to be an essential 928 part, I am donating a Sunforce Solar Battery Maintainer, brand new in sealed packaging.

Bidding should start at $25
