Default 928 Specialists Adjustable Performance Sway Bar System

Hi Guys,

Here are some preliminary Details on our New Sway Bar System that was unveiled at Sharks in the Mountains this weekend.

928 Specialists Adjustable Performance Sway Bar System

Front and Rear Adjustable Performance Sway Bars for your 928!

Cold Formed from prehardened bar stock to prevent heat treat deformation and to retain Sway Bar "Memory".

Front 28mm Solid Sway Bar - 150% Stiffer than Factory Bar @ Stock Link Position - 3 Way Adjustable Drop Link Locations (Stock Location, Stiffer and Even Stiffer).

Rear 22mm Solid Sway Bar - 187% Stiffer than Factory Bar @ Stock Link Position - 3 Way Adjustable Drop Link Locations (Stock Location, one Stiffer and one Softer).

Our Design allows you to use Factory Original Bushings, Drop Links and Hardware, if desired (not recommended on "stiffer" link positions).

Increased Front Tire Clearance, our new Front Bar gives you more Wheel/Tire clearance than the stock bar. You can safely run a front 265/30-19 with 9.5" wide 72mm offset wheel or larger without any Sway Bar rub!

Our Sway Bar kits Include Heavy Duty Heim Jointed Pre-load Adjustable Drop Links.

Front Sway Bar Includes New Heavy Duty Mounting Bushings and Brackets (stock Brackets/Bushings are used on rear)

Both of our New Sway Bars come with Mount Bushing Locating Collars to eliminate Sway Bar Shift.

Please note : Pricing is for Introductory Special Pre-Orders Only. We expect to be shipping these in approx. 6 weeks.

Complete Front and Rear Set as pictured with all Hardware - $399!

Front or Rear Set only with all Hardware - $225 each

Special "BAR ONLY" Pricing for 928ers that have purchased our Ott Adjustable Drop Links (you can use your existing Drop Link Hardware) , $150 per Sway bar!!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

928 Specialists Performance Sway Bars are Custom made for us by ADDCO Manufacturing.

ADDCO has been manufacturers of Quality Sway Bars and Suspension Components for over 40 Years!

First company to incorporate polymers into stabilizer bar bushings!

First and only manufacturer to develop "cold forming" of prehardened bar stock to prevent heat treat deformation and to retain material specifications in extreme use

First and only manufacturer with the capability to produce both solid and tubular bars, top diameter os 2 1/8" and 3" respectively

First to develop and patent an "in-cab" disconnecting anti-sway bar system.

Please visit our website over the next few days as I add more details.

>1. What MY will the sway bars work on?

Sorry all years, early 928s with 21mm rear sway bars you may need 22mm factory mount bushings/brackets. By the time production is started I hope to have a solution for this

>2. Whats the turn around time or do you have complete sets in stock already?.

Our first production run is scheduled and we should be shipping in approx 6 weeks. I few "little" clients like Ford and Lotus are ahead of us in production at the moment :-)

>3. Is red the only color they come in?.

There is another color? Yes, they will be red only.

Hi Dave,
>is the $399 for both an special intro price, or normal price?

Depending on production levels, I hope and plan to keep the price the same.

>since i haven't looked at them, will they slide in and out or is there major disassembly req'd?

Front is a pretty simple "Plug N Play" install. The Rear is more involved, but I feel very much worth the effort. Chris and I installed my rear one in about 2 hours. A lot of that time was spent trying to find an easier way. I would guess someone who is familiar with 928s and has a lift and tranny jack could do it in an hour. I plan to have instructions and photos on the web site later this week.

Whats the issue Stig? Do you need people with experience or do you just need to get the funds together for the parts?

I can laugh at that DR. Trying to find an easier way DOES take longer in this case as the rral solution LOOKS difficult but is not.

Hi Brendan,

>I can laugh at that DR.

You should have seen my staff laughing at me sitting in my office chair under my 85 on the lift all day staring up at the rear suspension trying to think of a better way.

>Trying to find an easier way DOES take longer

For sure!

> in this case as the real solution LOOKS difficult but is not.

Yes, we found it was much easier than I remembered AND, if you are installing coilovers at the same time it is only 6 more bolts!
