Everyone who owns a 928 has dealt with 928 Intl. I have many times and all went great. A 928 is like a boat, a place to throw money into. A least we can use the cars more than a boat.

I have use www.pcars.com, www.928sRus.com and www.HookedOnCars.com and they are all super in any way!
I have also use 928 Specialists but it was a very long delay on delivery but that is because I order some parts that they are not in stock at the time, slow e-mail answers too... but in any case they are honest people!
I dont think that you can go wrong with any of the Rennlist sponsors also

Dashcovers work great on later 944s, pretty good on early 944s and all 924s, but not too good on 928s.
I wasted money 2 times on them trying to get a good fit. I just think they are made too wide for proper clearence when the doors are shut. Maybe you will have better luck.

928 intl is the number one source for parts for these cars. Others have may have more specialty parts or lower prices on some items, but 928 intl is the standard. I think the plastic dash tops are all the same. I got one to protect a dash that was in pretty good shape. I just set mine in place, did not glue it or screw it down. I have had no trouble with it moving around or warping.

928 International is the Nordstroms for 8 cylinder Porsche owners - impeccable service, great inventory, and an uncanny ability to relieve you of your money painlessly.

I hope you all aren't under the impression you are providing guidance to the OP.

He hasn't been around since 2004:

Look at page 1 to see who the culprit is.

The dash covers are a $150 solution to a $2,000 problem. By no means perfect but a big improvement. You will always know what it is , other people will be less observant. Simple as that. Too much sun exposure and the cover is going to warp. The leather cover must be removed down to the original vinyl dash and care used when fitting it to the dash.

Agree. Mine would buckle when the door closed so trimming was in order. Another problem is that our old dashes have probably shrunk. The dash cap on my 931 had the same problem.

BTW DO NOT expect the one tube of silicone supplied with the cap to be sufficient. To get it properly installed without warping you will need to use at least three tubes.

Uh Hum that would be me. Sorry I was thinking about dash covers. Thanks for the info on the sellers though I always wondered if they were any good
